Would You Like to be Part of an Organization Advocating for the Arts in the Area?
The Northern NJ Community Foundation is working with municipalities in Northern NJ to form a Regional Arts Council called ArtsBergen. We are currently seeking volunteers interested in encouraging the arts in the Bergen County area to help us establish the ArtsBergen organization. We have already formed three task forces with enthusiastic and talented members on board, and are online casino recruiting more hands on deck. The task forces” goals are:
1. Fundraising Committee:
Create collateral materials that illustrate the case that “arts are good
for business” and use them to solicit funds from major online casinos corporations in the region.
2. Marketing/Communications Committee:
Create an organizational brand and identity, and develop a method to reach out to community residents and businesses introducing ArtsBergen and its mission/benefits.
3. Networking Committee:
Build a database, create a Facebook page, an ArtsBergen email address, and a directory of arts organizations; plan networking meetings.
