Bergen County LGBTQ+ Alliance

Bergen County LGBTQ+ Alliance (BCLA)’s mission is to provide a safe space, a resource hub and programs that empower and support the LGBTQ+ community living in and visiting Bergen County, NJ. We promote acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community through education, and to advocate for social change that eliminates oppression based on sexual orientation and gender identity and embrace diversity.

BCLA will act as a hub to ensure that the local LGBTQ+ community can access services available to it within Bergen County. We will also offer a range of support and services to the LGBTQ+ community that are aimed to complement and supplement services that are already available locally.
