As I complete my first year as the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation’s (NNJCF) Executive Director, I am impressed by the Foundation’s efforts to grow greener, healthier and more creative, inspiring and inclusive communities in North Jersey.
This year, we did a lot to build partnerships, connect people with a variety of resources, produce public art that speaks to community concerns, and share knowledge about how creative placemaking helps enhance the quality of life in communities.
We have even more in store. In 2024, we are offering a workshop on designing places to reduce depression and planning even more placemaking workshops and webinars. We are building an Environmental Justice Alliance in Hackensack and plan to have several community events to help Hackensack be greener and more sustainable.
We’re planning a major placemaking conference for New Jersey. And we will provide more opportunities for you to get involved in helping enhance communities in North Jersey.
Together, we can help communities like yours be better places to live, work and thrive for all residents. Please make a donation today to help communities through the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation. Any amount helps.
Individuals and businesses may support the NNJCF’s work with a tax-deductible donation, as permitted by law. Donations may be made online.
