NNJCF Collects Soup
The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation collected non-perishable cans of hearty soup for the Center for Food Action (CFA). Jennifer Johnson, Director of Communications and Director Relations at the Center for Food Action, received bags of soup from the Foundation’s President, Michael Shannon.
The cans of soup were collected at the NNJCF’s second ArtsBergen quarterly networking meeting, Connecting the Dots through Marketing: Engaging Our Communities Through the Arts, on January 19 at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
The event attracted artists, writers, arts administrators, educators, municipal and community leaders, business owners, and arts supporters living or working in Bergen County.
The NNJCF initiated the collection as part of its mission to promote collaboration and civic engagement in the community. The food donation will provide nourishment to people in Bergen County during the cold winter months.
