Connect the Dots

Stay Tuned for the Next CONNECT THE DOTS Networking Event…

Connect the Dots

 What is Connect the Dots?

In 2015, the Northern New Jersey Community Foundation’s ArtsBergen initiative launched Connect the Dots, an ongoing series of quarterly networking events of the arts and business communities that is open to the public. Connect-the-Dots meetings, held in different venues throughout Bergen County, present an exciting range of activities: exhibitions, speakers, interactive arts presentations, performances, and time to network and socialize.

The well-received program strengthens and connects the arts community through professional development presentations and sharing creative ideas, work, and talent. This interaction stimulates creative collaboration among artists, arts organizations, municipal governments, city planners, businesses, developers, educators, and healthcare leaders. Connect-the-Dots provides a forum for exploring possibilities for collaborative arts projects that use the arts and cultural programs to add value to residents’ daily experience and to civic and business enterprise.

Enjoy photos from the Connect the Dots event, “Brew and Song”, co-hosted by The Alementary Brewing Co. and Bottom of the Barrel Art in Hackensack, New Jersey!

Singer Alice Leon led the group in an interactive song writing process producing this tune, “The Irish Girl from Hackensack”.  Listen and join in.

Our Connect the Dots Networking Event: “Lights, Camera…Network!” was both fun and productive! Particpants worked collaboratively to explore the benefits of the arts by creating videos. View their creative productions here!
